Post to Instagram directly from your computer

id you know that you can post to Instagram directly from your laptop or desktop? Most browsers allow you to modify the user agent (the setting that tells a website what kind of device you're using to view it). This means that even when you're on a Macbook or home PC, you can trick Instagram into displaying its mobile site. To do this on Safari, go to Preferences > Advanced > check Show Develop menu in menu bar. Open a private browsing window, and go to Develop > User Agent > Safari > iOS 10 > iPhone. Log in to Instagram.com and click on the camera icon to post a photo from your computer.
In Chrome, log in to Instagram.com, right-click on the page > Inspect > Tablet icon. Refresh the Instagram page to switch to mobile view. You see the camera icon? Now upload away!
