He was also chosen to design the visuals for Kalilangan (2009, 2010, 2015) and Tuna Festival (2009, 2010). He won top prizes at the regional Information and Communications Technology eBusiness Week in 2004, earning him scholarships at KPITTC in 2005. My family, my dreams,
and my ethnic roots remain as
my ultimate sources of inspiration.
As a freelance artist, Millado finds pleasure in capturing the soul of his clients and subjects through his commissioned vector portraits, replete with his stylized scribbled strokes, at times leaving construction guidelines to shed clue on how the picture was made. Inspired by his ethnic roots and fascination with Blaan folklore, he aims to revive the Blaan art of storytelling through his illustrations, and spread global awareness of Blaan culture with his art. To Further improve, and at the same time share his artistic knowledge, he conducts annual summer workshops for kids in both tradional and digital media.

T
hrough all my struggles as a full-time artist — my family, my dreams, and my ethnic roots remain as my ultimate sources of inspiration — constantly fuelling my passion to creating art," Millado reveals. "Having financial stability is also a great motivating factor.
